Kids' nail parties · Naperville, Illinois

A nail party at a long table, hosted for you

Bubblegum is a small studio for kids' manicures and birthday parties. Pick a party, choose your add-ons ahead and we set the table. A grown-up stays with the group.

Parties

Pick a party, then your add-ons

Every party has a host, a time and a table set before the first guest walks in.

How a party goes

From the date to the last dry nail

  1. 01

Step 1: Pick a date and a party

Choose a Saturday or Sunday time and the party that fits, hands or hands and feet. A deposit holds the date.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Choose add-ons ahead

Glitter, stickers, robes and favor bags are picked when you book, so the table is ready when the first guest arrives.

  3. 03

    Step 3: The party

Guests sit at the long table and your host walks them through the colors. Every child gets a manicure while the grown-ups stay close by.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Cake and goodbyes

Bring your own cake; we clear the polish from the table first. Nails are dry before anyone goes home, and each family leaves with a few lines on aftercare.

Kids' manicures

A manicure sized to the hands

For a weekday afternoon or beside a party, by age band, each with its time.

Kids' manicures, by age

A grown-up stays at the studio for every visit.

Prices are the studio's own. They show when you book a time or a party, and a party's deposit goes toward it. Times are for a typical visit; a design or a larger group can add to them.

Your hosts

Four technicians, one long table

Book a party with the whole studio, or ask for someone by name.

  • Jenni Liao with a shoulder-length bob in a dusty-rose wrap top, in a bright salon with plants

    Jenni Liao

    Owner and lead technician

    • Nail technician license · IL Lic. # 000000

Jenni started Bubblegum after years of painting her daughter's friends' nails at the kitchen table. She leads the weekend parties and does the grown-ups' gel manicures.

  • Maylin Amaro in a gray apron over a black top, standing in a salon doorway

    Maylin Amaro

    Party host and technician

Maylin runs the long table at weekend parties. She walks a group through the colors, keeps the line moving and makes sure nobody waits with wet nails and nothing to do.

  • Nyah Drayton with her locs pinned up, in a sage-green apron at a manicure station

    Nyah Drayton

    Technician, accent nails and tweens

Nyah paints the accent nails, from a single star to a rainbow, and does the manicures for ages 11 to 13. Ask her for the glitter and foil.

  • Cedrick Frierson in teal scrubs, standing beside a row of pedicure chairs

    Cedrick Frierson

    Technician, kids' manicures

Cedrick does the weekday after-school manicures and the kids' toes. He keeps a calm table, which helps when it is somebody's very first manicure.

Questions

What parents ask first

Does a grown-up have to stay?

Yes. A parent or guardian stays at the studio for the whole visit, and at a party we ask for one adult for every four guests.

How many guests, and what ages?

A hands party seats up to eight guests, a hands and feet party up to six and a mini party up to four. Parties are for ages 5 to 12.

When is the deposit due?

When you book. It holds the date and goes toward your party. The amount shows on the booking page.

Can we bring a cake?

Yes. Bring your own cake or snacks and we clear the polish from the table before it comes out.

How far ahead should we book?

We suggest a few weeks ahead for a weekend date, so you have the time you want.
