Our policies
What to know before you book a party or a manicure.
Booking and deposits
Everything is by appointment. A party takes a deposit that holds the date and goes toward the party; it is due when you book. Kids' manicures and grown-up services book without one.
Canceling and running late
Tell us at least 72 hours before a party and 24 hours before a manicure. For a manicure, ten minutes late is fine. At a party we start when most of the group is here, and a guest who arrives late may get a shorter manicure.
If you miss an appointment
If a party or a manicure is missed without a word, the held time is lost and the deposit stays with the studio. Call us and we will find a new date when we can.
Children and companions
Parties and kids' manicures are for ages 5 to 12, and tween manicures run to 13. A parent or guardian stays at the studio for the whole visit, and at a party we ask for one adult for every four guests. Younger siblings are welcome with their own adult.
Patch tests and allergies
Tell us if a guest has reacted to a nail product, or has a cut or an infection on the hands or feet. We may ask for a doctor's go-ahead first and will gladly rebook. If you have diabetes or a wound on your foot, check with your doctor before a pedicure.
If you're not happy
Tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. If a guest wears gel or acrylic from somewhere else, book removal first, and please do not pull it off at home.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. You can leave one for your host at the counter when you settle up.
Before your visit
Come with dry hands and nails, with no product needed. We start every manicure with a quick look at the hands. Wear something that can take a stray dab of polish, and bring your own cake or snacks to a party.
Ready when you are
Choose a date, and a deposit holds it.
